Jacque Kera, a 70-year-old farmer from Cameroon, has a wife and six children. He wants to express his gratitude to Well4Africa social initiative for the gift of Bagnai-Moulvoudaye well.
“Here, in this part of the country, we have rainfall for only 3–4 months. I plead that you always remember to pray for rain in this area during your Rosary prayer,” Jacque asks. He explains that the people of Bagnai village rely on agriculture for survival, but due to the scarcity of rainwater, they often have very poor harvests which presents a challenge in terms of feeding themselves.
“I am very happy that we now have access to clean drinking water, which will greatly enhance our health. No longer will my wife and children need to spend hours searching for water. This new supply will enable us to maintain cleanliness, as we can now bathe and wash our clothes with ease. Thank you for your love shown to us through this gift of water. May God bless you all!” Jacque says.
